Shari believes in supporting the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—as they grow and flourish. She works primarily with teenagers and adults, offering a safe and nurturing space to heal and discover their authentic selves. Much of Shari’s work focuses on supporting survivors of trauma and abuse, including those currently in or recovering from high-control relationships and groups.
She also helps individuals navigating anxiety, disorders of personality, and life transitions. With a deep understanding of the complex nature of PTSD, Shari strives to walk alongside clients with empathy and care. A certified Christian counselor and practicing Catholic, Shari is comfortable exploring spiritual concerns with individuals of all faith backgrounds. She is passionate about helping people become the person they are called to be. Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR, Shari also helps clients uncover how early attachment experiences shape relationships today, guiding them toward healthier patterns and deeper connections.
In addition to individual and group therapy, Shari offers groups in the form of therapeutic tabletop gaming—a creative, collaborative, and fun way to process personal challenges. These groups allow participants to engage in therapeutic play, build problem-solving skills, and find connection and support within a community setting.
