Meet Dr. Tamara Reese

Dr. Tamara Reese is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern here in Florida. She has her doctorate in Community Care & Counseling: Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. As a mental health provider, her goal is to provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you’ll be heard, supported, and encouraged by working together toward healing and growth. Therapy with Dr. Reese is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs, whether it be through talk, art, or play. Dr. Reese recognizes that therapy is not about quick fixes, but about finding lasting growth and healing. Rather than focusing on specific techniques, she allows the environment to guide the theoretical approach.

Dr. Reese recognizes that families are the smallest social units, yet familial relationships are critical to mental health from the individual to the global level. Having both a master’s and doctorate focused specifically on Marriage & Family Counseling, she understands how important these relationships are because families are the backbone of society.
